Sell it like Rickshawallahs!

Outside every station: “Sir, kidhar jana hai?”
No small talk. No my rick is cleaner than his. Destination first.
That’s Sales Lesson #1: ask for the end point, not permission to pitch.
You say “MG Road.”
Rickshawallah replies in 0.2 seconds: “Nahi jayega.” Or, “Chalega. Meter pe 100 extra.”
Brutal? Maybe. Clear? Absolutely.
Sales Lesson #2: not every ride is your ride.
If the route bleeds you, say no. If it’s peak hour or pothole city, price the pain.
Because the best rickshawallahs do two things brilliantly:
Qualify fast (where do you want to go?)
Protect margins (nahi jayega / premium for the hustle)

Selling lives in the creative tension between customer destination and business sustainability. Navigate both, or you’ll stall on the way.

Fare ke not fair?
